CURAPULSE, a beauty tech startup that is promoting technology advancement focusing on skin cell regeneration technology using ultrasonic, pulsed and optical complex energy Based on the driving and analysis technology, the commercialization of skin beauty devices is in full swing, and a number of preclinical and human clinical data are accumulated.
The company is a company that develops skin-tailored restoration solutions based on AI and complex energy technology. Recently, it was selected as the ‘2025 TIPS Global Track’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in recognition of its mRNA induction technology and global medical device standard response design.
In particular, WaveSync™, a cellular stimulus technology for skin regeneration, Dualporation™ that maximizes the delivery of active ingredients, and Intrasonix™, which increase the absorption rate of oral ingesting ingredients. It has key energy-based technologies. This technology is being applied to the representative home beauty device ‘Dualtetra’ series and is rapidly gaining market response.
Let’s listen in detail about the current status of the K-beauty device market, differentiated technology, and global vision through Cura Pulse CEO Nam-gyu Cho.
Question: Recently, the beauty device market has many evaluations that it is saturated. What is the challenge that ‘Curapulse’ throws at this point?
A: When the market is shaken by ‘sentiment’ and ‘trend’, we dig into the essence of ‘scientific evidence’. Now, consumers want definite data, not ambiguous feelings. Curapulse is not just a beauty device. At the gene (mRNA) level, we will identify the expression mechanisms of collagen and elastin and reorganize the market paradigm as a ‘bio-technology device’ that controls it with technology to ‘efficacy-centered’.
Q: How is the core technology of Cura Pulse, ‘WaveSync™’ and ‘DualPoration™’, different from the existing ones?
Answer: The key to wavesink is ‘refined synergy’ and ‘resistance prevention’. In fact, simply physically mixing energy (ultrasonic, electric pulse, LED) of different properties does not necessarily increase the efficacy. Rather, we were well aware of several attempts that the wrong combinations were in danger of offsetting their efficacy.
Therefore, after a lot of trial and error, we found an ‘optimal crossover algorithm’ that creates explosive synergy without colliding with each energy. The figure of ‘increasing absorption rate by 572%’ recorded by Duel Foration is not a simple sum of energy. It is the ‘publicity of delivery technology’ created by the fierce optimization process and a scientific victory.

Q: The ‘Intrasonix™’ technology is interesting. Is it the concept of connecting devices with Inner Beauty?
Answer: You are right. True beauty comes from inside and outside balance. Intrasonic is a technology that dramatically increases intracellular absorption by physical stimulation of devices when oral nutrients reach the skin tissue through the bloodstream. This is our will to go beyond simple device manufacturers and become an integrated wellness solution company.
Q: It was selected as the ‘2025 TIPS Global Track’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. What is the selected task ‘real-time bioimpedance analysis’?
A: This TIPS global track was made through the recommendation of Accelerator New Paradigm Investment. Each person’s skin condition is different every day. Our device measures the user’s skin thickness, density and moisture in real time with ultrasound and pulse signals. Based on this, AI is building a closed-loop system that ‘customizes’ the optimal energy intensity and time.
Q: What kind of specific experience does the AI skin consultant app ‘Dr.J’ provide to users?
A: It is a ‘personal beauty data scientist’ that integrates the user’s procedure history and even weather data on the day. For example, after a powerful procedure, we provide a solution to skin changes that can maximize the safety and effectiveness of presenting a truly oriented protocol. It will give you the experience of placing your own skin care physician who is awake 24 hours a day.
Q: I know you have experienced several new global businesses. How does the experience of that time affect Curapulse management?
A: The greatest asset earned by successful global business in the past is a sense of direction to reduce unnecessary trial and error. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve a ‘flexible strategy’ that keeps the technical perfection and global standards (IEC 60601, etc.) without compromise, but takes response to the market much more quickly than large companies.
However, unconditional speed is not a good thing. So, based on past experiences, I continue to train intensively in intensive work process so that our organization can make decisions quickly and accurately and efficiently. We are refining the formality, but the density of execution is increasing, and it is refining an organization that can conduct a ‘prepared speed battle’ that immediately captures and preempts new opportunities.
Q: I recently got an explosive response from Wadiz Funding and Shopping Live. What do you think consumers are passionate about about Cura Pulse?
A: Consumers are now wise. It responds to logical data and transparent technology disclosure rather than flashy advertising models. I think the data of the ultrasound frequency and specific clinical figures in the practical use presented by us accurately penetrated the needs of consumers who longed for the ‘real’.
This sold-out goes beyond a simple record of sales, and I think it is a signal that our ‘technical authenticity’ has been accepted into the market. However, there is still a long way to go to settle here. Now, we have only passed the first gateway to market verification. As much as the expectations and trust you have given us are heavy, we will continue to prove it with a more humble attitude.
Q: It recently attracted seed investment from New Paradigm Investment. What potential of Cura Pulse do you think investors valued?
Answer: This is the time when the beauty device market evolves beyond simple home care to a ‘data-based personalization solution’. Investors noted that Cura Pulse has the ‘Deep-Tech’ capability to lead this trend.
Our model, which accumulates skin data based on solid hardware technology and expands it into a platform business, has been evaluated as a technological barrier to entry and the most reliable future competitiveness.
Q: What stage is the situation of overseas expansion in the US, Japan, and Europe?
A: The global roadmap is progressing steadily as planned. Following the signing of MOA with EDA Technology to advance into the Greater China region, we are spurring preparations for opening our own mall to target the US market.
In addition, participation in South American exhibitions in conjunction with Brazilian partners, and planning of pop-up stores in major Southeast Asian bases such as Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam are being pursued simultaneously. We will sequentially target the global market (HUB) that connects North America, South America and Asia, and targets the global market three-dimensionally.
Q: I heard that it is a sales target of 26.7 billion won by 2028. What is the multi-layered revenue model for this?
A: Our strategy is clear. With three core technologies: WaveSync™ (Stimulus), Dualporation™ (Delivery), and Intrasonix™ (absorption), devices, functional cosmetics, and even inner beauty It is to build an ecosystem.
Unlike our competitors who only sell one-time devices, we create a differentiated profit structure by using devices equipped with unique technology as a ‘platform gateway’ where data comes and goes. Various services are organically connected, focusing on AI super personalization services, ▲ dermatology-linked care, personalized cosmetics subscription, and IoT skin monitoring with telecommunication companies. In other words, hardware sales are only the beginning, and we will diversify our revenue sources as a service platform to complete our ‘sustainable growth’.
Q: Although some companies are advertising products imported from abroad as an ‘ultrasonic’ device, there are concerns about cases where the ultrasound output has not been objectively verified or that it is not checked normally in the actual use conditions. How does Cura Pulse view this market situation, and on what basis should consumers distinguish ‘real ultrasound’ technology?
Answer: This is not a problem with a low-cost product, it is a matter of the gap between claim and verification. Ultrasound is not a verbally proven technology, but a physical phenomenon that is confirmed by measurement. However, in some products, key data such as output and frequency are not sufficiently verified in the actual use standards, with only the name of ‘ultrasonic’, and are coming to the market.
In particular, the report presented by the manufacturer is not sufficient. Effect and safety can be discussed only when ultrasound occurs normally under the conditions used by the actual consumer and whether it is reproduced under the same conditions.
Cura Pulse chose to validate the actual use criteria, not the packaging competition. With objective measurement and reproducible data, we will set the ‘real ultrasound standard’ in the market.
Cura Pulse chose ‘sure essence and innovation’ instead of ‘glamorous packaging’. We will focus on the effectiveness and stability verification that is helpful to real customers rather than immediate sales. However, the concern is that these false products can eventually lead to the distrust of the entire K-Beauty Tech. We will prove the ‘real standard’ more tenaciously so that sincere companies that have been silently developing technology do not suffer damage from wholesale money.
Finally, Cura Pulse CEO Nam-Gyu Cho said, ‘Curapalus becomes a ’24-hour skin care physician’ beyond a simple beauty device. It will,” he said.
